Information collected
Greenacres Disability Services collects personal information when you sign up to our Activity Update email mailing list, including:
- your name,
- email address, and
- the types of activities you are interested in.
Your information is collected in order to:
- Provide regular email updates about upcoming activities that may be of interest to you.
- Conduct surveys, market research and analysis to assist Greenacres in developing new activities that may be of interest to you.
If you do not provide this information, we will not be able to send you email updates about activities or ask you about the types of activities you may be interested in.
Authorisation to collect information
Greenacres Disability Services is a registered NDIS provider. We are authorised to collect this information under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (Provider Registration and Practice Standards) Rules 2018.
You can access your information
You are entitled to access the personal information held about you by Greenacre Disability Services by speaking to our Engagement Office at customerservice@greenacres.net.au or contacting the Privacy Officer at privacy@greenacres.net.au.
We store your personal information securely and will not share this information with any other party, except as required or authorised by law or as stated in our Privacy Policy
Who do we share your information with?
We disclose your name and email address to our US-based eNewsletter service provider, Mailchimp. This is for the sole purpose of emailing Activity Updates and surveys to you from Greenacres Disability Services. Mailchimp also provides unsubscribe services to allow you to cease receiving these updates at any time. Mailchimp does not disclose your personal information to anyone other than Greenacres.
Greenacres Disability Services is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) which sets out how Greenacres is required to manage your personal information.
